Our family had an enjoyable stay at the property during our weekend trip to York. After a day of hiking and exploring, we appreciated the comfortable and well-equipped house to relax in. the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the collection of books about York kept us entertained and informed about the city's history. The property's location was convenient, with the nearest airport just 46 km away at Sutherland St-York Racecourse. Despite not being in the city center, the house was in a quiet street and within walking distance to shops and restaurants on Bishopthorpe Road. We especially enjoyed dining at the Pig & Pastry cafe and Angel on the Green for live music and good food. Overall, the property had family-friendly amenities and activities that catered to our needs, making our stay in York memorable and enjoyable.
